The business has begun supplying fashion clients with white label and private label products including jersey, knitwear, outerwear, denim, hosiery, accessories and homewares, The BusinessDesk reported.New brands include ‘Charlotte Thomas’, a mid-market casual lifestyle brand, offering athleisure and lounge/nightwear for 25-45-year-olds; ‘Flowstate’ a Gen-Z brand offering sports/lifestyle pieces; and ‘Mwasi’, a line of linens, cloth, soft furnishing, textiles and upholstery fabrics inspired by bold patterns from India and Africa.
Prices will retail from £29 for a T-shirt to £230 for outerwear.Nadia Thiare, head of sales (retail and brands) at Swiscot Group, said: “We’re creating clothes that fit today’s lifestyle – for women who work hard, work-out, have active social lives, but also value their rest and relaxation time.Already a major supplier of textiles to the hospitality sector (hotels, universities, restaurants, gyms, cruise ships and airlines), Swiscot operates from a high-tech facility in Manchester, and four storage & logistics centres including a 10,000 sq ft distribution centre in Dublin.Garments are sourced from the UK, Pakistan, China, India, and Turkey, and lead times range from 28 days to 90 days.Currently, 35% of the group’s product is manufactured in the UK, as the group “understands the need for speed” by cutting lengthy lead times, thanks to in-house design and a “robust supply chain”.
